Road Rage Turned Violent: Justice Served

Jeremy prosecuted a shocking road rage incident that occurred just off I-79 following a fender bender. When the innocent victim attempted to exchange insurance information, the Defendant—who was driving without a license—got out of his car and demanded the victim’s phone at gunpoint. After taking the phone, the Defendant inexplicably shot the victim in the face.

Despite his severe injury, the victim courageously remained conscious long enough to call 911 from his work phone. Erie police responded swiftly, using video surveillance and GPS evidence to track down the Defendant. When the case reached court, Jeremy worked closely with the victim to ensure he felt comfortable and prepared to testify.

On the eve of trial, facing a well-prepared prosecution and a determined victim, the Defendant pled guilty. He was sentenced to 50 years in prison, with eligibility for parole after 15 years.
