Justice for a Botched Robbery Homicide

Jeremy prosecuted a complex homicide case that stemmed from a botched robbery. The victim was tragically killed while answering his back door, and the perpetrators vanished into the night. After an extensive police investigation built on circumstantial evidence, Jeremy uncovered a crucial cooperating witness from an unrelated homicide case he was also handling.


At trial, Jeremy and his team meticulously presented a compelling case, weaving together ballistic and DNA evidence, cell phone data, eyewitness testimony—including from both cooperative and reluctant witnesses—as well as statements from some of the perpetrators themselves. Numerous video recordings further pieced together the events of that fateful night.


The teenage shooter was sentenced to 41 years to life, the mastermind received a life sentence, and the remaining accomplices faced significant prison terms.
